It was in 2002 that the Holden Maryborough Technology Challenge began taking students beyond the boundaries of the classroom.

Since then, Holden MTC has grown to become Queensland’s premier and most dynamic youth event. Now in its seventh year, the event attracts participants from all over Queensland - and further afield throughout Australia! HMTC attracts high media attention and is supported by many proud sponsors, including the major sponsor Holden.
